Julie A. Larick is a Best of the Net-nominated, Serbian-American poet and fiction writer. Her work appears or is forthcoming in GASHER Journal, perhappened mag, Blue Marble Review, Hecate Magazine, and others. She is passionate about amplifying youth voices, and frequently volunteers to teach writing to kids and teens. Julie is the Creative Writing Manager at The Incandescent Review, reads prose at GASHER Journal, and interns at Girls' Life Magazine.
Julie majors in English and minors in Environmental Studies at The College of Wooster, where she is a rising sophomore. She gets inspiration from her fellow writers' work, Fiona Apple's lyrics, and the flora & fauna of her backyard. When Julie is not writing, she enjoys sewing with vintage fabric, doodling weird faces, rereading old books, and singing along to musicals.
