​Julieanne Larick is a hybrid writer based in Austin, pursuing an MFA in Poetry at The New Writers Project. She is chapbook editor at GASHER Press after serving as fiction and poetry reader for several years. Recently she instructed literature courses at a university in Novi Sad, Serbia through a Fulbright Award, along with a creative writing workshop at the city's American Corners. Her writing has been recognized by the Indiana Review Fiction Prize, Bread Loaf Environmental Writers Conference, and Sundress Academy for the Arts. Writers of inspiration include Rainald Goetz, Rikki Ducornet, and Danilo Kiš. Originally from Cleveland, she appreciates when a river runs through her city.
